Red Hue
The Opuntia Cactus is a plant that grows in Central and South America. By scraping the surface of the cactus, a substance is extracted which, when dried, produces a red powder.
From the roots of the Rubia, a plant typical of southern Europe (which has always been used by master dyers), an orange-red colour is obtained.
